Protective intelligence and executive protection.

Living protective intelligence, executive protection program design, GSOC/EOC concepts, operational coordination, and threat-led protective decisions.

A living management function.

Protective intelligence is not a periodic background report. It is the continuous process of collecting, validating, assessing, and communicating information that can change how a principal is protected.

Protective-intelligence functions

  • Living threat assessments and protective risk picture.
  • Persons-of-concern development and behavioral/contextual review.
  • Social-media threat triage and escalation.
  • Travel, event, venue, route, residence, and third-party intelligence.
  • Source validation, confidence handling, decision briefs, and watch requirements.
  • Law-enforcement/security liaison planning where appropriate.

Protective operations

Global Makarios can design and integrate executive-protection programs, advance and site work, movement and route planning, residential posture, communications, surveillance-detection concepts, major-event integration, and GSOC/EOC operating models. Regulated guard, PI, or field execution is performed through properly qualified and licensed resources where required.

Operating rule: intelligence that does not reach the people who must act on it, in time to change the outcome, is not protective intelligence.

GSOC as an operating hub

A GSOC or virtual operations function should coordinate tracking, monitoring, communications, notifications, travel, incidents, emergency actions, field support, and the protective knowledge base. The design should match the actual mission rather than force the mission into a generic security dashboard.

From intelligence to a protective decision

Intelligence findings inform threat and vulnerability assessments, travel risk planning and the people responsible for protective operations. New information should identify what changed, how confident the assessment is and whether the plan needs to change.

Turn a signal into an operational disposition

Information becomes useful when its relevance to the protected person or mission is assessed. Context, source quality, uncertainty and changes over time all influence whether an issue warrants escalation, further inquiry or continued review.

Define a useful engagement

Scope the questions leadership needs answered, the reporting cadence and the thresholds for urgent attention. A clear disposition helps the operational team understand what changed and what decision follows.
